This tour begins with a pick-up from your hotel in Otavalo, where we will start a cultural journey through nearby communities to discover the rich artisanal traditions and living heritage of the region.

Our first stop will be the community of San Rafael de la Laguna, where we will visit a community initiative dedicated to working with totora, an ancestral plant fiber used to create traditional handicrafts.

We will then continue to the community of Peguche to visit a family workshop that produces traditional Andean musical instruments. Here, instruments such as charangos, quenas, and zampoñas are carefully handcrafted.

Next, we will visit a traditional weaving workshop where ancestral loom techniques and Kichwa symbolism have been preserved and passed down from generation to generation.

Finally, we will return to Otavalo, concluding this cultural experience that offers a closer look at the traditions, knowledge, and daily life of the local communities.
